James P. Toomey James P. Toomey has been an associate at The Vrdolyak Law Group, LLC. since 2004, where his practice focuses on Workers’ Compensation. He is dedicated to fighting on behalf of injured workers.  Additionally, he has experience in representing clients in contract disputes, landlord tenant law, and administrative law matters.  Prior to employment with The Vrdolyak Law Group, LLC, Jim practiced water rights litigation in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Jim is licensed to practice in Illinois and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.  He also maintains an inactive status in the New Mexico State Bar.  Jim graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Law in 2003, where he was a Note & Comment Editor on the Minnesota Law Review.  He received his bachelor’s degree from Illinois Wesleyan University in 2000.
